Gateway Classic Car of St. Louis is proud to offer a nicely upgraded 2008 Ford Mustang GT/CS. The California Special edition was originally introduced in 1968 as a limited run special edition. This was an appearance package which could be added to a Mustang GT. The package included Fog lights, hood pins, side scoops, a deck lid wing, and Thunderbird tail lights. Less than 5,000 of the 1968 GT/CS were produced making them rare and sought after. Ford paid homage to these 1968s by bringing back the package in 2007. The new version of the package adds the following to a Mustang GT: two tone leather seats, unique floor mats, side stripes, side scoops, rolled exhaust tips, unique front and rear bumpers, and 17" polished wheels. This particular example has been nicely upgraded to wring out a few extra ponies. The 4.6 Liter V8 has been nicely massaged with the addition of a Cold Air Intake, larger throttle body, and new exhaust. The exhaust features shorty headers and a Flowmaster Cat back system. These additions along with a dyno tune make this GT/CS a very powerful car. The car features a Hurst shifter which has short and direct throws which make this thing a blast to drive. This one is Performance White with black striping. A rear blackout panel has been added to carry the white/black theme. This car has been well cared for since new and boasts a clean AutoCheck report. The car has only 38,740 miles and drives wonderfully. The paint and interior look great and it sports new tires in all four corners.
