As an Oldsmobile lover, I was drawn to the opportunity own this great car. The last one of the great ones, the best color combination, completely original and low mileage. This 442 is very well equipped. We decoded the trunk decal and the option list is long. We also have the broadcast sheet. Yes, this is a real 442, as evident by W42on the service sticker, 9 for the engine code in the VIN and by the broadcast sheet. It has never been damaged or rusted. I see no evidence of repairs or paint work. The interior is in mint condition. The Factory Stage 3 wheels are spectacular. Zeebart undercoat and rust protection has done its job! Even the headliner is in great condition!!! All features work properly. The A/C has been converted to 134a and it blows cold. There is a pop-up sun roof that was dealer installed. It is badged as Oldsmobile, but I cannot see that it could by a factory installation. The maintenance has been routine. The tires are new. There is nothing to do but keep gas in the tank and drive it. I love the Lamp Black/Silver interior combination. The gold accents on the wheels and the gold decals bring it all together in a very attractive package. This car has been driven just over 58000 miles. I am driving it , so that number may creep up a bit. But it is a very tight and tidy car that has never been abused. This was the last of the V8 powered, rear-wheel drive Oldsmobile 442’s. It has a fantastic look and a great history. It has many, many miles of joy left to give.
