This is not our typical show car. It is a solid independently confirmed matching number, 427/390 DRIVER with a replacement 4-speed. We have it on consignment from a very good client who planned to restore this example but just hasn't gotten to it.
It is that simple and it is that great an opportunity for someone looking for a big block Vette roadster to drive and/or to restore.
To our best knowledge the car had no accident history or damage. It has one older repaint in from Nassau Blue to Rally Red with correct black trim that has been replaced and shows some wear. The engine and tranny appear sound, albeit dirty and a bit ugly. The car runs and drives like a top. The valve covers gaskets are wet. The suspension is solid. The brakes stop like new. The steering is true. There is no frame damage or rust, but lots of patina. The tires are okay but beyond the DOT expiration date.
This is a solid Vette driver waiting to be driven and enjoyed, or a restoration project waiting on a plan. The choice is yours! She is what she is, perfectly imperfect.
