Vehicle Description

I use this car as a "Daily Driver" in the warm months. I do not travel long distances with it. I drive back and forth to the grocery store and gas it up occasionally. Some owners do drive these cars long distance but that was never my intent, I use it for the simple pleasure of convenience. The car has not been modified from its original condition. For instance; some owners install Updated brakes (for maximum safety), Updated Transmissions with "Overdrive" for smoother driving Sometimes owners modify/balance the engine to make it a smoother running engine for long distance driving. I have not made any of these changes because it detracts from the cars value as an antique. So the car still looks, feels and drives like a 1929 Model A Ford. When I bought the car, the previous owner had the car repainted and he had the new upholstery installed. He installed the new Vinyl Top and the experts have told me it is correct for the model. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt to its original state and there are now about 2000 miles on it since he rebuilt it. I made the following changes; The original transmission is rebuilt to its original state The clutch has been replaced with a Ford replacement clutch I replaced a damaged carburetor with another used carburetor (original equipment) I updated the distributor’s internal components I replace a damaged exhaust manifold with a Ford replacement I replaced the generator with an alternator for safety purposes (I like to be able to turn on the headlights and blow the horn at the same time) I still have the original generator for a collector who prefers the original I had the steering rebuilt, there is no play The gas tank has been lined so there is no rust. There is not a rust spot on the car anywhere. It has the original Ford steel frame and body. When I have a car I insist that everything be in good working order and that is what I have done with this car. The previous owner gave me all of his receipts for all the work he had done and I have all the receipts for the work I had done. The previous owner also gave me the old parts he removed/ replaced and likewise I still have the old parts I updated. So if a person wanted to have the original parts they are still intact.
