1948 Ford Station Wagon (Woodie) with around 11,300 miles on it. As you can see it's had a complete frame off restoration. EVERYTHING on it has either been restored, replaced, or upgraded to better than new. This car was a rust free car to start with and the underside and all metal panels are very clean and show no repairs or patches etc... The fenders and body are in excellent condition, this particular paint is called Candy Rasberry and is just immaculate!! All wood has been replaced and is in outstanding condition with Curly maple, birdseye maple, and mahogany. All chrome was redone to show condition and the interior is brand new tan leather!! The dash has been restored and is band new and glass all around is perfect!! Drive train is excellent as is everything. Now the motor...... This is a 1964 Ford 427 and the tranny is a C-6 witha Ford 9 inch rear end!! It has a full Heidts subframe assembly under the front, power rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes, all the springs are also new under the rear end. It's also got a new vintage A/C set up, Aluminum Radiator, large Ford 427 factory headers. All the best components were used in this build, with ZERO expense spared,period. Tilt wheel with a Le Carrera wheel, Lokar shifter, Landshark wooden shift handle!!! Just so many little touches that make this car what it is.... gorgeous and one of a kind. Wheels are polished Radar with brand new tires basically as well as a new exhaust. The rack on top is a true 50' wooden rack (not pictured ), complete with the wooden ladder that sets on the tailgate for easy step up loading from the rear!! This car also drives like a dream as well not just a looker. The fit of the wood is perfect and it steers and drives straight and perfect with the turns having no shimmys and shakes at all.
