For Sale: 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo in Scotts Valley, California
1989 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe
VIN: WP0JB0934KS050273
Finished at the Porsche factory on November 10th 1988, this Grand
Prix White Turbo was originally sold at Rexroat Porsche-Audi Int'l
Auto in East Moline, Illinois on February 25th 1989. It would first
be registered 10 miles away across the Mississippi river in
Davenport, Iowa. The owner of the car would have a business partner
in Canada that he would sell the Turbo to in 1991. During its time
in Canada the car was rarely driven, and only in fine weather. It
was regularly serviced by John Scotti Automobiles in Montreal, and
kept in a climate-controlled facility. The Turbo would remain in
Quebec until it arrived at Canepa.
1989 is the final year of 930 production, and the only year with a
5-speed transmission. Since arriving at Canepa over 100 hours of
mechanical service and concours-level detailing have been invested
into this 930 to ensure that it presents at a the highest level,
and drives like new. Stunning in its Grand Prix White paint with
black leather interior, and complete with it tools, jack, and
books, here is an unique opportunity to own a 1989 time
capsule.
