1931 Ford Custom Tudor Sedan
If you are looking for a nice street rod at a bargain price then look no further. This classic 1931 Ford Custom Tudor Sedan is being offered up at a great price especially when you consider its a factory all steel car! In a world where bodies are being produced daily out of fiberglass these steel cars have become rare and typically fetch much higher dollars than their fiberglass counterparts. Well this car is steel AND being sold for less than those glass customs! The body sits on a fully boxed frame, is in good condition and coated in a nice yellow base coat/clear coat paint. It is fitted with all of the original chrome and the original grill. The original running boards are covered in rubber and are in good shape. A new vinyl top was just added to the car as well as all new glass. Up front the car has halogen front headlights with built in turn signal. In addition to the original taillights in the rear the car also received a third brake light. It is not shown in the pictures but the car does come with a spare tire rack for the back. The car looks great rolling down the road and does so on the 15 inch Cragar wheels. An extra set of Black steel wheels with tires also come with the car.
The car was set up to drive comfortably and is powered by a rebuilt 1991 Vortec 350 V8 motor that runs really well. It features a 4 barrel quadrajet carburetor and a lot of chrome/billet add ons. Paired with the engine is a custom drive shaft, 700R4 automatic transmission, and 10 bolt Chevy rear end. The 10 bolt has a 3:23 gear ratio and is surrounding by a 3 link with panhard bar, 3 position adjustable radius arms and coil over springs. Up front the suspension utilizes a Mustang II style front end with coil overs and tubular control arms. The car has a rack and pinion steering with GM disc brakes added up front. It is a nice cruiser and rolls down the road well. Other features include the new Walker radiator, new 21 circuit wiring harness and 16 gallon fuel cell. The motor was also set back slightly to add clearance for an AC system should the new owner want to install it at some point.
The interior is done in Gray and the original seat frames just received new covers. The bucket seats up front fold out of the way to give access to the rear bench. It comfortably seats multiple people which is a great plus considering a lot of street rods don't have enough room to bring the family along. The interior base is painted Yellow to match the body with a central area of wood that houses the new Dolphin Shark gauges. In front of the driver you will find a nice aftermarket GT Grant steering wheel that sits on top of the GM tilt column.
