This truck was completely stripped to bare metal and modified to its current state with less than 4,000 miles on the rebuild. Engine – The engine is a 6.9L international Diesel originally supplied from the 86 F250 donor truck. The engine runs great with many new parts including the fuel pump, oil pan, starter, air pump, racor water fuel separator, fuel lines, radiator lines, and 4 core radiator. The engine is fueled from dual frame mounted tanks. The exhaust feeds into dual stainless stacks which are mounted between the bed and cab.
Transmission – The engine is backed by a 4 speed manual with a new clutch pressure plate, throw out bearings, and pilot bearings.
Interior & Options – The interior retains its stock appearance with the vinyl bench seat and green metal dash. Custom gauges, gauge backing, newer column, and custom steering wheel were added.
Exterior & Options – The body was completely stripped to bare metal and painted a beautiful green and black. The paint is in great conditions and shows no signs of wear. All chrome shines beautifully. The bed features oak boards with stainless inserts. The hood was fitted with a reversing kit adding to the custom appearance. The truck was fitted with custom wheels and 37” tires.
Brakes & Suspension – The body was mounted on an 86 F250 chassis equipped with four wheel drive, locking hubs, power steering, and power brakes. The brake lines were all replaced and a new master cylinder was installed. Calipers, pads, rotors, rear drums, and shoes were all replaced.
