Vehicle Description
This 1932 Chevrolet sedan is a custom build that commands attention
everywhere you go. And that can be as far as you want because it
has the V8, A/C, and other features to take you as close as the
grocery story or easily road trip into the next state.
This is the one to drive when you want attention on the custom car
scene. Most 1930's hot rods start with a Ford body, and so this '32
Chevy already starts off as an attention-grabber. Of course
customizing the fiberglass body to make it look longer and have a
more aggressive stance will draw in the crowds with ease. And as
they get closer, it will be impossible to miss the custom purple
pinstriping on the shimmering silver paint. In fact, the paint is
so good it replaces traditionally chromed pieces like the waterfall
grille, headlight surrounds, and tail lamp brackets. This one has
all the great custom touches that will have people pouring over the
details like the custom unified front end, shaved door handles,
Nash mermaid hood ornament, and the five-spoke wheels with spinner
caps.
Inside the custom work continues. The gray and blue cloth front
buckets are borrowed from a late-model vehicle, so they offer
superior comfort for the driver and passenger. And the rear seats
feel downright bedroom plush. The custom door panels are made from
matching materials, and gray carpets on the floor tie it all
together while helping to control the noise and heat. The dash
matches the exterior color, which really make the black-faced Equus
auxiliary gauges pop. Luxury features are expected in a high-end
hot rod, so this one includes R134a air conditioning, power
windows, and a tilt column topped by a grippy Grant sports steering
wheel. There's also a great-sounding AM/FM/CD stereo to keep your
favorite tunes going for the whole trip.
Under the hood is what we all love to see. Plenty of shiny
components attached to trusty Chevy small block power. The 350
cubic-inch V8 looks fantastic with the polished air grabber, valve
covers, and intake, but look closer, and you'll see there are
plenty of performance upgrades, too. For example, that beautiful
intake is also an Edelbrock Performer component. Add that to a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, headers, and a performance X-pipe
dual exhaust. So not only does this V8 have extra grunt, but it has
the rumble that tells the world it's a runner, too. The independent
front suspension with disc brakes, TH350 three-sped automatic, and
power steering means the open road is calling you in this custom
build.
