Beautiful 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible comprehensively restored from Texas - Professionally Closed Transported to NY. With the stickers, placards and overall condition it is fairly certain that this car was in TX until I brought it up to NY where it is driven only in the summer months and stored in a climate controlled facility for the harsh NY winters.
My goal has been to get this vehicle as close to original as possible. Recently replaced interior carpets, reconditioned leather seats, rebuilt transmission, relatively new top, auto-down window relays & renewed knife switches for top/auto down rear windows. Convertible top is fully functional with recently replaced Rams (2 top 2 deck lid), hoses, and pump. New carburetor, new points, new plugs, new coil, new charging relay, new battery. This is a great driver car - not a 100 point restoration car nor a daily driver but a great vehicle to go out with and enjoy a 4 door convertible with classic lines unlike any new vehicle today.
Auto Down rear power windows fully operational. Renewed factory correct 3 port fuel pump, heat pump shield, and insulated fuel lines. Brand new Waldron's Exhaust (OEM correct) dual exhaust system installed. Gas Tank replaced with a 1964 Lincoln Continental brought through a "Tank Renu" (google gastankrenu-dot-com) service. Factory AM Radio was converted into a AM/FM/RCA out with Bluetooth adaptor with the stock look by Instrument Specialties. Stereo speakers in front & back mono speaker locations. New seat belts (2 retract in front, 3 fixed belts in rear). New Carpet Kit in Trunk. Spare tire, jack also added to the restoration. I've gone through over 30 hubcaps purchased around the USA and eBay with the 4 best now on the vehicle now (of those 3 are NOS hubcaps).
