The 1955 Chevy is considered to be a huge turning point for Chevrolet and a major success. It had smooth straight panels on the sides and hood wrap-around glass on the windshield and triangular tail lights that jutted outward. And this new look combined with new the power and engineering of an optional V8 engine made the '55 an instant hit. It was available in three models: the 150 210 and Bel Air. Over 1.7 million were produced and they accounted for nearly 23% of all car sales in the US in 1955. This beautifully restored 210 has been painted in a two tone Aqua and White pearl paint; Giving it an iconic look. The chrome is bright and adds a distinct contrast to the paint. The interior is also done in Aqua and White. The seating is wrapped in white leather and it is very good condition. Under the hood is a nicely tuned 327cid Small Block Chevy motor with a Holley Street Dominator intake and a Holly 650cfm Carb. The chromed steel wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich radials and are put in motion by a 5 Speed manual transmission and a 9 in rear end with 3:70 gears.
