Wendell Cadillac in Albany, NY Provenance: Believed to have been owned by New York Governor Herbert Lehman (in office 1933-1942) But no verified documentation yet. Owned by Clarence Stanbury of Bath, NY from 1968 to 1988. He was the owner of many classic cars and was the owner of a Gas and Oil Company in his hometown of Bath, NY. The car then went into the possession of Mr. Keith Isoman of Hornell, NY from 1988 to 1993 who then sold the car to Gene Kahn of Coupeville, WA. Mr Kahn, purchased this V-16 Cadillac in 1993 and was part of his collection until 2014. While in Mr. Kahn's collection, this car was the receipiant of a stunning, concours level, 6-year body-off restoration. This entire process is extremely well documented. All receipts and paperwork will accompany this car. The total restoration costs were well over $160,000. With only 2,100 miles put on the car since the restoration, this car shows beautifully and will be welcomed at any show field. The car runs and drives like a new car. Cosmetically, the car is near concours condition. The paint and chrome shine like new, as does the motor compartment.
