This beautiful 1950 4 door Deluxe Desoto came from St. Louis, MO in about 1987. I have had it for 29 years. The car was invited to the 3rd annual Motor Muster at Greenfield Village in 1988. It was #213 under my son's name. It has always been kept inside. There isn't any rust on it that I have ever found. It is all original except for the radiator, which was replaced in 2014 and I also had the master cylinder and some of the steering linkage replaced at the same time. It also has all new shock absorbers on it. The body shows no sign of any damage, all the body lines are sharp. It has the original factory gray paint, with "PAINT OK" stamped in white on the firewall. The interior is a Gray Cloth, original and in very good condition. The hub caps do not have any dents or scratches on them, and with the white rings on the wheels it is really sharp. The chrome on the whole car shined up beautifully when I had it detailed last month. The darker of the pictures attached are of the underbody. The blue paint that you can see coming through is the original underbody paint. The engine is very smooth and quiet. I had the transmission removed and all the seals and gaskets replaced. It was running OK but I figured it was time after 65 years and 62,500 miles, 2,500 of them since we've had it. There were 18,489 of these produced in 1950.
