OUTSTANDING, BEAUTIFUL, SHOW STOPPER 1965 PONTIAC GTO FOR SALE!!
This 5N car built was built in the Pontiac, Michigan plant early January 1965. Originally came with 4BBL Carb and ST300 transmission with Safe T Track. Complete nut and bolt, body off rotisserie restoration, PHS correct, non- numbers matching car. 389 V8 engine rebuilt using correct 77 heads, all new components, blueprinted and set up with TRI Power manifold and carburetor system. Compression reduced to 9.25: to run on high octane unleaded gas Transmission replaced with correct TH 400 transmission and shift kit. Exhaust system built with Flowmaster mufflers and 2.5" stainless steel exhausts.
Brakes rebuilt with new components, original power booster rebuilt and re-plated.
Body work included replacing both quarter panels from donor car, small repairs made to existing interior floor, trunk floor completely replaced. Body taken down to clean metal, sealed, primed with 2 part epoxy and corrosion primer. Painted with PPG Toro Red paint and a single stage PPG Concept urethane top coat applied.
New convertible top completely rebuilt with new hinge motor and controls
Complete new upholstery. Day/night mirror, tilt sport steering wheel, power driver's seat all original to car.
All new tinted glass, rebuilt door hinges ,reworked window regulators, new interior door handles and window cranks. Every area that there is a rubber gasket, window fuzzie or seal required it was replaced with new.
Heater box completely disassembled, heater core replaced and original 4 core Harrison radiator re-cored and installed.
All stainless trim reworked and polished, bumpers re-chromed.
Comes with original Rally 1 wheels that were powder coated, reworked and polished. Brand new Rally 1 wheel and tire for spare along with correct jack and lug wrench. All tires are brand new Coker Red Line radial tires.
