The production of 6,755 Series 62 Convertible models helped Cadillac post total sales of 61,926 units for 1947, with the GM Division now surpassing Packard as America’s best-selling luxury marque by nearly 11,000 units.
Restored to very high standards, this Cadillac Convertible is presented in Seafoam Green Metallic paintwork. Accenting this lovely paint is a tan canvas power top, fender skirts, dual sideview mirrors, attractive brightwork, wide whitewall tires and Kelsey-Hayes chrome wire wheels. The interior is striking with Butterscotch pleated leather interior. It also features power windows, electric clock, AM radio and a cabin heater. Moving this convertible is a resolute flathead V-8 engine that is fueled by a single carburetor and paired to a Hydra-Matic Drive transmission. Completing this stellar car is the original spare tire; and jack found in the trunk.
