The fourth generation Monte Carlo was introduced in 1981. In 1983, Chevrolet re-introduced the Monte Carlo SS. The car featured a V-8 engine; revised body work and a rear spoiler all of which helped differentiate itself from the normal Monte Carlo. The exterior styling gives the car a great, unassuming look. It was a true sleeper in its day. Fourth generation Monte Carlo production ran through the 1988 model year.
This 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS is presented in white. The car rides on low profile tires which are mounted on aftermarket wheels. The Monte Carlo SS is powered by an L69 305-cid V-8 engine which is paired to an automatic transmission. The beautiful sound of the V-8 engine is emitted through a dual exhaust system. Power equipment on the car includes power steering and brakes. The interior is completed in blue with wood accent paneling. It features bucket seats separated by a center console; air conditioning, clock and radio with cassette player. For the 1984 model year, Chevrolet produced 24,050 examples of the Monte Carlo SS.
