Vehicle Description
We are very excited to have acquired and be able to offer this 1968 Dodge Charger. Cars like this only come along once in a great while. It is a really unmolested and unique find of an original Charger that you just don’t find these days. The car was owned by a local owner and tucked away for years. It has an excellent running original 383 engine backed by its original 727 Torque Flight Auto. The car has 74,000 original miles and maintains most all of its original components including its Magnum 500 wheels. It maintains most of its original green paint and has its original black interior. It previously had a black vinyl top that has subsequently been removed. This is a relatively high option car and includes drip rail moldings, body belt moldings, wheel lip moldings, 2.76 axle ratio, vinyl bucket seats, mono tone paint, 26” radiator, power drum brakes, AM radio, very rare air conditioning (that is all complete), all tinted glass, black vinyl top, console, hideaway headlights (which still work) Tic-Toc Tach, and driver side remote mirror. The gauges all work as well as the tail lights, turn signals, and hideaway headlight doors. As expected the A/C is not currently working, but the system is complete in its entirety. This car runs and drives without problems, and the engine doesn’t smoke or even stutter. The car has the typical rust in the rear quarters and trunk floor like other 68 and 69 Chargers, but the rest of the metal and especially the torque boxes and structural components are in very good condition. This is truly one not to miss as original Chargers of this era are a very rare find these days indeed. There are many options for restoring this great example. It could be restored to original or it would make an excellent platform for an R/T or Daytona tribute. Restore it yourself or have us restore it for you, your option. Call to see or inquire about this amazing Charger today as it definitely will not last long. The demand and popularity of Mopars like this has risen dramatically over the last several years. Offered at only $14,900.
