For Sale: 1956 Messerschmitt KR200 in Volo, Illinois
Very desirable micro car. It was not named after the famous German
fighter planes, it was actually built by the same Messerschmitt
company that built the planes. This is why there are so many
resemblances to the air craft. It is a very aerodynamic design with
inline seating for 2. The steering control was closer to an
airplane style then a car. Even though its only a 9 horse power
motor, top speed is 56 mph. Going in reverse means stalling the
motor and restarting it the opposite direction. You can still use
all 4 gears going backwards! This one is a collector. It has been
fully restored. Has black cloth convertible top, glass finish green
paint, fresh upholstery. Even the motor looks like new. Youtube
video available upon request. Call our classic car division at
815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
