Not only is it one of the top two fastest vehicles we have but it actually drove really well and was very comfortable. The ride was smooth, it accelerated real strong and straight. It was not a squirrely ride like I expected. Started with a clean rust free stepside. Only 1,500 miles since restoration. The motor is a 454 bored to 468 with square port heads. It was built right with all the right parts. TRW forged pistons, Isky roller cam, 871 BSD blower, dual Edelbrock carbs, MSD ignition etc. Hooker headers, 3 inch exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Kept cool with dual electric fans, aluminum radiator and water pump. External oil filter and cooler. TCI turbo 400 trans with 2500 stall and B&M shifter. 3.73 rear gears. Rebuilt front end. Bell-tech lowering kit and gas shocks. 15x8 front aluminum wheels with BFG tires, 15x10 in back. It was repainted, has louvered tailgate, custom grill and taillights. Custom exhaust outlets. Has diamond plate bed floor and tool box. Inside has custom features including deluxe tilt wheel and gauges. Don't let the horsepower intimidate you. It really starts, runs and drives really easy and smooth. If you want to scare the you know what our of your friends, it will do that too!
