Vehicle Description
This Kaiser Darrin Supercharged Convertible is #26 of 435 produced. It's equipped with a Willys 161ci Flathead straight-6, a 125hp McCullough Supercharger and a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The Kaiser Darrin is a striking car with many novel features. It can lay claim as the first fiberglass sports car in America, beating the Corvette by one month. By far the most unique feature is the sliding doors, unmatched on any production car before or since. This example features the optional leather upholstery. This Kaiser Darrin was given a full rotisserie restoration and is in truly like-new condition. From the Tammy Allen Collection.
