This 1957 “E” code Thunderbird, #E7FH277834, was delivered to Mr. Henry Van Dam on April 30, 1957, as authorized for dealer Gil Weber Motor Company in Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Van Dam kept this car until it was sold to a museum in New Jersey. The museum owners did a complete restoration 29 years ago. The vehicle changed hands with only 31,986 miles on it when purchased by the current owner. From day one, this Thunderbird has always been kept in a garage or climate controlled storage. Under the hood is the 312 c.i. “E” code engine option with dual four-barrel carburetors rated at 270 hp. Only 1,300 Thunderbirds were built with this option; more than half of them are gone today.
