Vehicle Description
This rare, AACA-award-winning 1929 Peerless Six-61 Roadster reflects the company’s advertising slogan “All That The Name Implies” in every way. Sold new by the J.C. Harvey Company of Boston and Worcester, this vehicle was delivered from the factory on August 19, 1929. Found hidden away in an old service station in Massachusetts, this beautiful automobile was saved by the current owner, who undertook the challenge of a complete, highly detailed, full restoration. Every nut and bolt of this Peerless roadster was handled during the process; the wooden body frame was completely rebuilt, as well. The extra efforts taken by the owner during restoration were validated when the vehicle won the AACA 1st junior award in 2011 and the AACA 1st Senior Award in 2012 at the AACA Hershey shows.
A briefcase full of documents, photographs, and advertisements relating to the car and Peerless history are included in the sale. Vehicle sold with a title and registration.
