Original unrestored Z28 RS manufactured in the 1st week of December 1968. The cowl hood was not available for the Z28 until January of 1969 so this car has a flat hood. Additionally, the rear spoiler is from the 1968 model year and therefore is narrower than the 1969 spoiler which was not available until January 1969. DZ 302 engine is not born with but is a DZ engine that has been rebuilt as a 383 "stroker". I have the original crankshaft and valve covers (cracked). The car has the original 4 speed transmission and 3rd member with differential. The original rally wheels are date verified. The original Daytona yellow paint is verified on the trim tag. The car was repainted in the early 80's and that paint is very poor. There is no evidence of any damage to any of the body work. There are some bubbles (rust I assume) in the usual places (lower fenders and quarter panels). The vinyl roof is original and there are some bubbles near the rear window. Side glass is original but the windshield and rear window have been replaced. Everything inside is original - door panels, seat backs, dash, steering wheel, etc. The dash pad, seat covers, and carpets have been replaced. The floor pans, front and rear, are original and are in perfect condition. The car is a driver and runs real strong and fast.
