Almost 360,000 Willys MB's were produced during WWII between three production outlets that consisted of Willys Overland in Toledo Ohio, Ford and American Bantam. The name Jeep and where it originated has been debated by many for years. However, one thing is for certain it was Willys that successfully trademarked the name after WWII.
Although the Jeep helped win the war it struggled to find its way in civilian use after the war. That was until the CJ-2 was introduced with factory equipped 4-wheel drive, and it gained instant popularity among farmers, ranchers, hunters and others who needed a lightweight vehicle for use on unimproved roads and or large tracts of property.
This excellent little running CJ-5 that we are proud to offer is simple and affordable and goes down the road perfectly. And as long as you are not in a huge hurry this CJ will go just about anywhere. It has been excellently maintained with several new parts. This great Willys would make a excellent addition to any cottage, cabin or farm.
