1980 Clenet Series II Phaeton, 4 seats, rear mounted spare which is rare & # 64 of 250 handbuilt. cost $85k in 1980, & only showing a bit over 17,000 miles. its by far, the nicest one we have ever had or seen!! beautiful 2 tone paint with red leather & white piping. 351 V8, auto, air, tilt, 1930's Rolls styling-unreal wood dask, 2 crystal ashtrays, in dash shifter, & power everything, & etched side vent windows! very rare!
1980 Clenet Series II Phaeton 4 seater, the nicest one we have ever had or seen! showing just over 17,000 miles in 36 years!! and it looks it. beautiful 2 tone red & white paint job, darker red fold down convertible top with headliner & red top boot, stunning red leather interior with white piping, 1930's Rolls styling with huge burl wood curved dash, with in dash shifter, CD player, 2 crystal ashtrays & crystal hood ornament, teak accents on 2 piece metal hood, & on running boards & trunk, & has a rare rear mounted spare with matching cover, etched side vent windows, glass rear window, powered by a peppy 351 Ford V8 5.7 liter engine with automatic transmission, air conditioning, tilt, cruise,power brakes, steering, windows, seats, hood, trunk etc.big solid heavy car with a nice soft ride & deep trunk, almost 18 1/2' long with 136" wheelbase, &74" wide, & 62" high, & a larger 19 gallon gas tank, & huge side super charger pipes, & spot lights, badges on grille, body side moldings, & factory built by Clenet Coach Works in Ca. #64 of 250 & has that on side plate, but I am told that only 182 were actually made & were around $85k new, & mostly bought by actors & famous people like Sylvester Stallone & featured in many films, & has 5 real wire wheels, with Clenet center caps, & much more- pricey yes but to have one built today would have to be around $175,000.+ for sure. very high quality, but its the nicest 30 year old Neo-Classic car we have ever had by far!! a real steal at only $39,900.!! that's all $39,900 !! a lot of car for the bucks!! we can ship it to your door, by enclosed insured truck carrier, & we also ship almost anywhere in the world by enclosed ship containers-dont miss out on this collectable beauty! wont last long.
