This is an exceptional 1935 Ford Coupe that has so many nice
touches to it that I'm sure I can't indicate them all here.
Absolutely beautiful! All steel body prepared to showcase black and
silver base/coat, clear/coat paint with a subtle, yet necessary red
pinstripe separating the two dominate colors. To say that this
coupe is striking in its appearance would be an understatement at
best. Open either door to find a very comfortable and very tasteful
interior. The seats have been rebuilt with comfort in mind as well
as obvious style with the contrasting red stitching. The door
panels, headliner and carpeting all blend very nicely to assure
whomever looks in the car will certainly have a smile on they're
face. The dash is nothing short of amazing as well with it's full
chrome instrument panel complementing the chrome inner window trim
throughout the car.
The original banjo steering wheel accompanying the original gauges
harken back to another time evoking the point of owning such a
piece of history in the first place. Once the starter button is
pushed on the dash the 239 Flathead engine comes to life and runs
as smooth as the day it was new, but this particular engine has
been treated to some nice upgrades in the form of Offenhauser
finned aluminum heads and aluminum intake manifold. A 4 barrel
carburetor and Sanderson style headers assist in giving this
flathead a nice little performance edge over its stock
configuration. Aside from this coupe running and driving down the
road nicely, you may notice its carefully executed stance, the
perfect set of wheels and tires, the Continental kit, the factory
folding luggage rack, the billet aluminum bumpers, and the chrome
dual exhaust tips exiting out the back. See what I mean? I could
just go on and on about the fine attributes of this coupe because
it's just-that-nice. Nice clean under carriage, magazine articles
and trophies not withstanding.
