Rosner Motorsports is thrilled to present this immaculate 1967 'Series 1 1/2' Jaguar E-Type Roadster. Often considered one of the best automotive designs in history, and called ""The most beautiful car ever made"", by Enzo Ferrari, the E-Type is truly an icon in the classic sports car world. Debuting in 1961, the E-type was an instant hit. The Series 1 examples were, and still are considered the best looking and most desirable and the later Series 1 cars with the larger, more powerful 4.2 liter engines and fully synchronized transmission are more desirable furthermore.
Our specific example is in fact a late run Series 1 (1 1/2) OTS (open two seater) 4.2 liter car that checks all of the boxes for the true Jaguar collector. Finished in arguably the best color on an E-Type, British Racing Green, the car shows like new. A complete body off restoration was performed on the vehicle in the early 1990s and the car has aged very gracefully, still showing quite nicely. The interior is appointed in biscuit leather throughout and features its original wood rim steering wheel and Jensen AM/FM radio. The cloth soft top is in wonderful condition and operates perfectly with all of its trim and hardware showing nicely as well. The original tonneau cover for the soft top is also in very nice condition and is included.
