Powered by a 383 cubic inch Chevrolet small block V8 and built to provide reliable performance. This project began with an outstanding rust free and exceptionally clean 300TD wagon from Arizona. The high performance Chevrolet 383 "stroker" V8 is teamed to a GM 700R4 four speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The wagon retains its original Mercedes 3.23 rear end which is a heavy duty unit because of the diesel application it was intended for. Other features include four wheel disc brakes, factory sunroof, Nardi steering wheel, newer model Mercedes chrome wheels, am/fm stereo and excellent air conditioning. Fast, fun and reliable!
