Vehicle Description
The first generation Mustang was produced until 1973 when the oil
embargo and safety regulations forced automobile manufacturers to
drastically change the way cars were designed but also technology
for fuel efficiency.
There were several different variants of the Mustang including a
hardtop, convertible and fastback. They also offered a few
different engine options ranging from a 120HP 6cyl to the Hi-Po "K"
Code 289 V8 that produced 271 HP. Ford was also recognized for
providing pretty decent fuel efficiency for the time and power.
This incredibly stock Mustang comes out of long term ownership
dating back to 1998. The owner says she thinks she is the 3rd or
4th owner and claims the paint was done prior to her ownership. The
car has been maintained with receipts to prove it. It appears to be
incredibly dry, free of any rot. The paint is not perfect but good
enough to be enjoyed. This handsome "C" Code 289 car starts, runs
and drives with ease and the interior in near perfect.
