This is a yellow 1968 Ford Fairlane 500. This car has been in the
family since 1970 when the second owner purchased the car while he
was in high school. He gave the car to his son a few years ago. The
partial restoration was completed in the 1980's and included yellow
paint and a replacement 302 V8 engine with a 4bbl Holley
carburetor. It has an automatic transmission, power steering and
drum brakes all around. The car orignally came with air
conditioning but it was removed. The engine and engine bay were
cleaned up and painted and the Cobra dress up kit was added in 2008
along with a new Flowmaster dual exhaust that has a nice sound. The
chrome bumpers and the trim look good with only minor pitting. The
interior is in good condition with the steering wheel and dash
showing some age but still in fair condition. The seats, carpet and
headliner are all in good condition and an AM/FM cassette radio is
in place. The temperature and oil gauges were added under the dash
for convenience. The wipers, lights, horn and are in operating
condition and the windows roll up and down easily. The 15 inch
Cragar chrome wheels on the P195/65R15 BF Goodrich tires add a nice
sporty appearance. It includes a correct owners manual and many
original parts such as the hubcaps and a ventilation system . This
car is a true driver. There are not many cars like this around that
has a known history. We can arrange shipping at buyer expense. If
