Vehicle Description
1949 Ford F-1 with original 239 ci flathead v8 engine and 3 speed transmission. Offenhauser intake manifold with duel Holly 94 carburetor's. The truck runs amazing! I just started it up after 2-years of resting in my garage (battery tender on and Star Tron Enzyme Fuel stabilizer) and started within seconds. Duel Cherry Bomb exhaust. Rear axle was replaced with Bronco axle to up gear ratio.
Extremely clean with, all new belts, new coolant and fuel hoses with stainless steel braiding, rebuilt & re-synced carburetors, new brake system, new stainless steel taillights with stainless steel braiding. Truck bed is aluminum diamond plate. A few minor scuffs/hairlines. I have bed cover which snaps in place (when bedrails are not in). Truck has been garage kept since restoration.
I have a set of period 1948 Connecticut license plates which can be used to register (in addition to purchase price of truck). Note, this does not include the mahogany wood bed rails.
My family and I love this truck and know we will never find another like her! It is unfortunate and with great sadness that we have to let her go.
Note, she must leave our home by the beginning of September. Please contact ASAP
