1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible the 1973 Corvettes were the first year of the federally mandated 5 MPH front rubber bumper. Of the 30,464 Corvettes produced in 1973 only 4,943 were convertibles.
This 1973 Corvette is featured in its original color combination of dark blue metallic with a black leather interior. It appears to have been repainted at some point several years ago but still has a good sheen and is very presentable. The car is equipped with power steering and brakes as well as an upgraded stereo system with iPod capability.
This Corvette Convertible is powered by a numbers matching motor mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt as well as a new clutch and brakes. The odometer is showing just over 40,000 miles and appears to be original. This is believed to be a two owner car. The white top has a small tear in the rear plastic window but is serviceable.
This is a great example of a very desirable Corvette Convertible with four speed transmission.
