Vehicle Description
1967 Corvette Stingray Roadster For Sale - NCRS Winner, NCRS
Validated Tank Sticker LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 67
Sting Ray Roadster. The 1967 Corvette Sting Ray was the last
Corvette of the second generation, and arguably after five years of
refinements made it the best of the line. Changes were again modest
such as five smaller front fender vents replaced the three larger
ones and the flat-finish rockers conferred a lower profile. New was
a single backup light mounted above the license plate and the
previous models' wheel covers gave way to slotted six-inch Rally
wheels with chrome beauty rings and lug nuts concealed behind
chrome caps. Interior alterations included revised upholstery and
the handbrake moved from beneath the dash to between the seats.
Enthusiast and collectors today mistakenly believe the C2 Corvettes
came with the options we all love and admire, especially looking at
the prices today, however in most cases they were not ordered. The
Code N89 Aluminum Bolt-on Wheels were only delivered on 720
Corvettes because of the $263.30 cost. Even the Side-Mounted
Exhaust System was a very rare option as only 4,209 Corvette
purchasers in 67 paid the extra $131.05 price tag. The ultimate
option was the Code L71 427/435HP engine available with a Holley
triple two-barrel carburetor arrangement called Tri-Power. The rare
L71 427 engine package, with only 3754 produced cost the original
buyer an extra $437.10 on the GM order form that had the Roadsters
retailing at $4141. This is one of only 14,436 Roadsters for the
production year that put 22,940 Corvettes on the road - the rarest
models had the powerful 427 package of brute strength ready to
devour any road! This 1967 Corvette Roadster was a very early
production model back on September 14, 1966 from the St. Louis
Assembly Plant. According to the NCRS Shipping Data Report, this
Corvette was delivered to Kelly Sales Company in Greenwood, IN.
Today, absolutely beautifully restored and very striking in the

Turbo-Jet 3X2 boasting 435HP and linked to the 4-Speed Close Ratio
Manual Transmission. The Positraction Rear Axle has the 3.55 ratio.
This Corvette Roadster is ready for the excitement of the show or
the open road thrills. This Sting Ray also features a Delco AM-FM
Radio, K66 Transistor Ignition, the awesome looking optional
Side-Mounted Exhaust, Tinted Windshield and the slotted Rally Sport
Wheels displayed on the Red Line Firestone Tires. Comes complete
