Vehicle Description
1970 Eldorado, 500 cu.in., 400 h.p., 550 ft.lbs. torque. The largest engine in an American production car. Power steering, power windows, power locks, remote trunk release, cruise, remote drivers side mirror, front wheel drive.
New half axles (cv joints), shocks, tires.
The bad:
There was some minor damage to the passenger's door which has been repaired. Since I was planning to have it painted, it was just sprayed with a green tone paint til repaint would be done, therefore the mismatch color.
There is rust around the A column which allows water to leak. Vinyl top will need to be replaced due to tiny rust bubbles underneath. The top will need to be sanded , sealed before new vinyl replaced.
The power lock on the passenger side isn't working but I have the replacement actuator.
Carpet is passable but could be replaced.
There was a tear on the driver's door panel which the previous owner covered the tear with black material. I would reskin the door panel.
Very solid car. I am reluctantly selling this car because I am moving and have no place to keep it. It has always stored under shelter since I've had it. Contact me for more details.
