For Sale: 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle in Sheffield, Alabama

Vehicle Description

I am offering for sale my rust free 1972 Chevelle SS clone. The built (Barnes Performance Racing, Asheville, NC) 383 stroker dyno'd at 457 HP and 457 ft/lbs torque with a Comp "Thumpr" cam and Holley 650 Double Pumper carb with electric choke delivers power to the 3:73 12-bolt rear end via a Kevlar clutch and Tremec 5-speed transmission. An electric fan provides engine cooing and front disks quickly bring her to a stop. She is decked out in correct code 75 cranberry red with black stripes and a cowl induction hood with functioning hood flap. Her body panel gaps and alignment are better than when she was new. She wears new 235/70/15 rubber wrapped around old school American Racing Coke Bottle Daisy 200 wheels (including the spare with jack). New chrome, emblems and weatherstripping all around. HID headlights light the way. Everything works except the "key in the ignition" warning buzzer. New interior includes wood wrapped steering wheel, bucket seats, head liner, door and rear seat panels, window cranks, package tray, sail panels, cut-pile carpeting, Hurst shift stick and ball attached to the Tremec thru a factory correct transmission hump and bezel. Tach, oil pressure and water temp gauges are integrated into the dash. The radio is an aftermarket Sony CD capable with USB connection. I don't use it (can't hear it anyways) because the engine/exhaust is the only music I need. The UMI upgraded rear suspension (control arms and sway bar) along with Yukon axles keep her straight and on the road with little or no hop. New springs and shocks smooth the ride. This car is wicked fast, powerful and fun to drive and draws attention where ever I take her. I can't remember how many times I've been asked if she is for sale, well now's your chance. GM Repair manual and Fisher Body manual along with receipts go with the car as do the parts I've been storing that were removed during the build. Also included is a partial case of Brad Penn partial synthetic "green" oil. I'm parting with her because there is not much more I can do with her and because I am starting a new project and won't be able to treat her the way she deserves. Make sure you view the attached video. Serious offers only, Thank you.
