Just in time for Summer; This 1967 Chrysler Newport Convertible has a solid body and has spent its entire life in Middle Tennessee. The engine (383 cu in./6.3L) is solid and runs like a top. Other pluses; the interior is in very good condition and was restored using the original pattern when it was first manufactured. The top is solid and the motor to raise/lower it works well and the top will keep you dry should the need arise. Blue tooth capable stero in the glove box. The chrome and wheels are in excellent condition. Paint only needs some minor touch ups and two small crack repairs . No issues with the transmission.
Some future projects: New float for the gas tank (gas gauge does not work) A new blower motor for heat and air. Brakes are touchy and will stop you on a dime, but the calipers may need replacing down the road. In the future; a new wiring harness in the dash, but necessary electrical components (wiper, headlights, directionals, hazard lights) work well. Needs a headlight switch. Carpeting is looking older, though in good shape. The boot has a tear in the seam and is missing one snap.
My price of $17,500 (OBO) is based off of a current Hagerty value of this model car in this condition. Go to:
