Vehicle Description
This truck just had too many desirable features for me to pass up. It is a very desirable shortbox stepside with quad headlights. It has a great stance, wide whitewall radials and the color is attractive. Most of all, it is powered by a GM powertrain. It is very road worthy and reliable.
It was recently finished with great attention to safety and style. The rear brakes were redone and new disc brakes were installed up front. A vacuum-boosted dual master cylinder was installed. A new Rebel wiring harness was fitted. New: U-joints, radiator, gas tank, electric fan, steering, springs, shocks, tires, shifter, battery, cables, gaskets, weather stripping, carpet, stereo and bed wood/strips.
The front axle was dropped 3? by Sid. The rear suspension was dropped 5?. Now the entire truck sits lower and with a stance.
The 350 V8 runs great. The THM 350 shifts properly. The Ford 9 inch rear end has a 3.00/1 open center section. Great highway truck! The exhaust is true duals.
The interior was freshened with new upholstery, seat belts, carpet and door panels. Extra material goes with. The headliner and visor should be done next.
All lights are new. The door lock is new. The wipers are new. All features, with exception of the parking break, work properly.
This is a great truck to drive. It has a great look. There has been much attention paid to reliability, safety and style. You just need to add gas and have fun!
