When was the last time you saw one of these? I don't remember when.
This was a top line car for Lincoln. A pure luxury automobile. It
is loaded with power seats, power windows, power steering, power
brakes, power antenna. The car was stripped down in 2002 and
repainted black. Have photos showing this. It was in a Concours
D'Elegance 2002 Salt Lake City. I have the concourse D' elegance
program. I have a photo album showing the car stripped and
repainted, as well as finished photos before going into the show.
It was beautiful. I do not know what happened with both the front
and rear bumpers as it looked beautiful in 2002? It may have been a
poor re-chroming job. They are dark now. I have receipts and there
are not many from 1988. It was in Salt Lake City at this time. It's
had 4 owners since 1988, two in Salt Lake City and two in Seattle.
Last owner bought it in 2004 till I bought it. He owned it for 12
years and the only reason for selling was he lost garage space.
That brings up another thing, this car is 19 feet 9 inches long.
Did I tell you it had a continental kit too? It is black with a
white top and white interior. The interior looks good. We installed
a new headliner. It's very straight and it might be rust free. We
will know more when we put it up on the hoist and get photos of the
underside. We installed new wide white radials to improve overall
driving. Andrew has driven it about 60 miles so far. I have driven
it about 60 miles. Joe, at Old School Garage, did the service and
safety check. 1956 Lincoln Premier 2 Dr Hard Top. Cond # 3 +.
