Vehicle Description
This is a total frame off restoration. It's all stock except it now
has a 12 volt alternator electronic ignition, electric wipers (
who's taking it out in the rain anyway ) and a electric cooling
fan. $58,000 spent on the restoration. We got a lot of receipts
with it. Looks like 5 years in the restoration from 2010 to 2015.
Beautiful maroon paint with black Hartz cloth top. Tan leather
interior. It's beautiful and runs and drives very well. I look
forward to driving it more. Joe, at Old School Garage, did the
service and safety check. You always find things that need to be
finished. The vacuum top was not functioning and Joe discovered the
vacuum rams leaked. No one rebuilds them so Rich's Custom Uphostery
installed a new hydraulic ram kit and a new top boot. The
speedometer did not function properly so Joe got it rebuilt. Now
you can drive with confidence and you will be looking good. What's
not to like about a 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible? One stunning car.
Cons. # 2+.
