1932 Ford Hi-Boy Roadster. This is a clean yet sophisticated build
using high grade materials and components. At the heart of this bad
boy is a Chevy 383 Stroker engine with an estimated 450 hp and a
ton of torque. A Holley 750 cfm carb sits on top with a nicely
sized cam and great set of Zoomie headers that allow this motor to
breathe like it should. The transmission is a modified TH 350 with
a high stall speed torque converter. It also has a beefed up GM 10
bolt rear end that can handle all of the torque and horsepower. The
trunk area is very well laid out with the fuel cell and battery
tucked in and around some great carpet and very cool mirrors. The
fiberglass body is from Show Me but still retains a steel hood. The
side panels for the engine bay will of course be included with the
sale of the car as well as another set of headers and misc. parts.
This Roadster has sported the back cover of a great novel called
'Hamburgers and Hot Rods' by author Eric Johnson. A copy of the
book will also go with the sale. The beautiful street rod has
brought home many awards at the local and regional car shows. This
Roadster is a very fast yet, very dependable easy cruising street
machine.
