Vehicle Description
Beautiful Woodland Green over Two-Tone Green Interior. 250 Inline 6 Thriftmaster, 2speed powerglide automatic transmission with 27,387 miles. Acquired from the second owner, who owned the car over 30 years, this car has been taken care of all of its life, as you can see from condition of the original interior. Although a lower trim model, almost every option box was checked, making this early Belair a very striking original example. Runs and drives wonderfully. In 1953 Chevrolet renamed its series and the Bel Air name was applied to the premium model range. Bel Air series featured a wide chrome strip of molding from the rear fender bulge, to the rear bumper. The inside of this stripe was painted a coordinating color with the outside body color, and 'Bel Air' scripts were added inside the strip. 1953 was the first year for a curved, one-piece windshield.
