This one owner car was built in 1999; the kit purchased directly from Classic Roadsters while they were owned by the original founder. The drive train and suspension were purchased from Minnisota Motorsports (Don Scott, who subsequently purchased Classic Roadsters). The engine, a SBC 350 was built by a race shop that Don used, which dyno’d at 312 hp (build sheet and dyno sheet available). The transmission is a GM T5 5 speed. The front suspension is Mustang II IFS; the rear suspension is a triangulated four bar control arm holding a GM 8.8" locking differential; with anti sway bars front and rear. Brakes are manual, with disks in front and drums in the rear. Other key components are as recommended by the build manual (included) that came with the full kit from Classic; VW windshield wipers, motor and linkage; Chevette door and window hardware, Chevette steering column, VDO gauges, Vintage Air, etc.
This car was recently restored and upgraded with a new paint job and new interior. Upgrades include a custom fan shroud,a hyudraulic clutch, remote solenoid with new starter components, new Wilwood master cylinder, new Edelbrock carb, double din touch screen radio with remote amp, Corbeau bucket seats, and more!

This is a really fun car to drive and show off. You can’t gas up without someone walking over to ask about your “Cobra” or whatever else they think it is! Mostly they don't have a clue, but they love the look and have to come over and gaze!
