For Sale: 1967 Volkswagen EMPI Sportser Buggy in Eugene, Oregon
*PRICE REDUCED* Absolutely incredible, all steel, 1967 Empi Volkswagen Sportster Buggy. Beautifully finished in base coat clear coat Corvette Cascade Green. 1961 VW chassis with VW link pin suspension up front and 63 Corvair suspension at the rear. The suspension components are powder coated and all bushings and hardware are new including springs front and rear. The brakes are completely rebuilt and have stainless steel braided lines. This buggy is very quick with plenty of power from the 1965 140 horsepower Corvair 6 cylinder engine with four carbs and Corvair 4 speed manual transmission with 4:11 gears. The engine has been completely rebuilt using parts from Clark's Corvair. The clutch and pressure plate are new, heavy-duty units. All fuel lines are stainless steel. The electrical is all new with harness, LED lights, high torque starter and new battery. All the body hardware and fasteners are stainless steel. The car is street legal and drives great.
