Vehicle Description
1946 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup Truck; the Chevrolet Pickup trucks from 1941-1946 were considered trucks produced in the Art Deco truck era. These trucks were designed to have a rugged and massive look.
This 1946 Chevrolet ¾ ton pickup remains very close to what a stock truck would have looked like in 1946. This truck has been restored over the last several years. The body has been painted in a maroon and black color scheme and the interior metal work is finished in hammered look paint with a tan upholstered interior. The mechanical systems have been refurbished as needed with new brakes, front end, electrical system upgraded to 12 volts etc. The motor which was rebuilt from the previous owner appears to be a 1948 vintage 216 cubic inch. The new oak bed and side rails look great in contrast to the maroon paint.
This is a very good truck with some minor items still needing finishing touches such as an inoperable odometer and oil pressure gauge. Drive as it is or upgrade with a newer drivetrain. Either way a fun truck to enjoy.
