One of only 3,046 Amphicars ever built during a six-year production run, this 1962 Amphicar was one of the first ever sold on American soil after its debit at the 1961 New York Auto Show. A true survivor, this amphibious vehicle has never been restored and only has 2,000 miles to its name according to the consignor. The current owner bought it from the estate of a family that owned an amusement park in Pennsylvania and used it for rides. This Amphicar has brand new brakes and brake pads, a rebuilt starter, and a new soft top. According to the consignor, the car was in the water two years ago with no problems and it still runs and drives beautifully.
