- Not your average Monza - definitely 1 step above driver quality. Private sale, clean North Carolina title.
- 164 ci 110HP engine sits in a nicely detailed engine bay with all mechanicals working correctly, neat wiring, clean surfaces, and powered by a recent tune-up
- Powerglide automatic transmission with unique shifter lever near the radio, shifts cleanly, and drives nicely
- Beautiful new custom interior with new Clark's carpet, all new seat covers and padding, headliner, door panels, package tray, kick panels, back seat cover, and dash. $1,500 on interior alone.
- NOS Spyder dash insert in pristine condition that has in-dash tachometer with round gauges as well as Spyder glovebox. These dash parts are hard to find and expensive.
- Very nice above "average paint job" done within the last 5 years in base coat/clear coat (non-original color). Would rate 7.5/10
- All stainless and chrome in excellent condition, has rare front bumper guards. Completely new aluminum rocker and fender well moldings as well as the front and rear grille from Clark's. New front bumper/side mirrors. New front and rear light housings. $1,000 just in those items alone. Rear bumper is original but in very nice condition with only minor blemishes and no dents.
- New rear and side glass, front original
- Very good seals and weatherstripping
- Working modern radio with good front speakers
- Clean front trunk area done in a lighter spatter gray (original was darker)
- All mechanicals work on this car as they should from lights to wipers to cigarette lighter to to radio to gauges, etc.
- Newer tires with about 80% tread left and new rear spare to go with it, all matching. Excellent condition Spyder hubcaps.
- Brakes have been completely gone through. If I were keeping the car I would go through much of the original suspension and replace new but serviceable and driveable as-is.
- Undercarriage has 2 repair areas shown in the pictures and is typical of what you see in the corvair community.
- For how well this car is put together and the cost of parts for corvairs (expensive) that have been replaced already, you're better off buying one like this DONE and not touching the $5 and $6K semi-projects you see for sale out there.
