1950 was the birth year of the famous icon, the Chevrolet Belair.
In an era before hardtops were available from most major car
producers, this early hardtop was created. The Belair was a trim
option on the Deluxe model, just like the Galaxie / Fairlane and
Caprice / Impala. All three trim packages became iconic, long
tenured models. This beauty is ready for its next owner to pamper.
These early hardtops were created by Chevrolet starting with the
convertible bodies and welding a hardtop on to them. Very unusual
way to build a car with a roof. Unique three piece rear window and
very small C pillars were different than the rest of the coupe offerings
in 1950. Beautiful example rarely since in this restored condition.

engine to increase horsepower from 80 to 120. The original engine comes

upgraded rear end gears to allow 65MPH cruising.
