Farland Classic Restoration is proud to offer this 1966 Jaguar XKE Roadster in Regal Red over Black. A beautiful, deeply-documented Series I car that came to us from the widow of its previous owner. He had owned it for the last 45 years. We even have the classified newspaper ad he saved when he found the car in 1971. A multiple-Jaguar owner, the gentleman drove the car regularly and kept it in excellent condition. There is a large file of service documentation covering the car’s entire history. Original owner’s book plus period literature and even some spare parts. Over the years, limited restoration work has been done, including paint (originally maroon paint), new soft top and interior leather trim. Red-line Michelins and chrome wire wheels add to a very authentic, great-driving E-Type. Always a Denver car, it has never experienced rust or accident repair, is completely correct under the hood and has a proper original exhaust. Just 74K miles and running very strong, with no oil pressure or heating issues. Far nicer than cars described as ‘driver quality’ but not so perfect it can’t be used, shown and enjoyed with pride. $123,500
