Our 1968 Ford Shelby GT500 is a true legend of Shelby history! As
the story gs, it was first purchased and owned for roughly 2
months. The first owner had to part ways, because of too many
traffic infractions (22 roughly). The Dealer than purchased back
the Shelby and then a drag racer by the name of Wes Johnson drove
by and fell in love with the car and purchased her with the intent
of drag racing. He then took out the original Police Interceptor
and put in a dual quad 427ci side oiler. The car was known as the
Lime Bullet in the circuit and then achieved the highest level by
setting a World Record of 10.68 on a quarter mile. Maximum speed
recorded was 110 Miles per hour. Now as if that is all not amazing
enough, this car has only 34,500 original miles on it, has never
been wrecked (all original sheet metal), and autographed on the
dash by ""Carroll Shelby""We have a lot of original documentation
for this vehicle, including: Build Sheets, News Paper Articles
labeling the car The Worlds Fastest Shelby!, Photos, Complete
documentation of the rotisserie restoration that took place in
2008, as well as the her being registered in the Shelby Almanac.
The car shows great, runs great and sounds absolutely amazing! Call
