very proud to present this beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Belair Nomad.
From 100 feet or 2 feet this Nomad is an absolute stunner. The fit
and finish is second to none. The blue paint looks like it just
came out of the booth yesterday and you could stick your arm in it
and come out blue. There is a nice bit of flake in it as well so it
really dances out in the sun. Now for the silver paint, you better
have your shades on when you look at this part of the car. There is
a good amount of flake in it and believe you me, it looks awesome.
There is just no way that once you see this car that you will be
able to take your eyes off of it. This car is what you want to be
cruising down the boulevard in tonight.
So, now that this beauty has grabbed your attention and really
drawn you in, go around to the driver door and take a look inside.
What you are going to see is a very plush two tone interior that
goes with the outside of the car. The bench seats are covered in
blue and silver vinyl and it just goes great with the whole car.
The dash is in great shape, as is the headliner. What would
normally be chrome strips across the roof have been painted blue as
well as a great accent piece. You are not going to find any rips,
tears, or cracks on anything in this interior.
Now, as you have seen in the pics, this is not your standard Nomad.
Under the hood of this baby sits a 350 that is mated to a 4 speed
transmission, and all of that goes out to a Ford 9" rear end. Rear
gears are unknown, but this car does well on the highway so no
radical drag racing gears here. When you fire this baby up and you
hear that rumble come out of those turbo mufflers, you truly are
going to have a hard time getting that ear to ear grin off of your
face. Now throw that baby in to first and step off that clutch. By
the way, also make sure to get your thumbs loosened up because you
are going to be giving thumbs up to people the whole time you are
driving.
